Lymphoedema And Aromatherapy Oils

[VIOLENCE G. É. NERO]

This was the theme set out by the partners Noel, Sandra, Heloise and Lourdes in our first session dedicated to presentations by the groups. It's always interesting to hear what colleagues have to say, perhaps pay more attention to value more the information gathered, to see how they operate, see our own evolution as a group after the passage of the courses. In fact, I wanted to praise how I can deal with us, gave me the impression that they were actual teachers who exposed the subject to speak so fluently, debate was generated, sent to Jose Luis sitting in the front row a slide and then read a sentence each to get the involvement of students. I liked that detail.
The issue in question is on the agenda. Not that is fashionable, but as it is said, now bring out more such cases, on the other hand have always existed.
As in all exhibitions, explained the concept, methodology and objectives of intervention, still consists of a complex reality by not being treated properly. Or that's my opinion. In fact, discussed how there can be no physical violence this involves the psychological, but it can be upside down, something inside of logic taking into account the feelings of insecurity, uncertainty, guilt and lack of affection that implies. In the same class
producing several debates, which made the session more dynamic. Turns out, so discriminated, the concept of gender violence applies only when a woman is abused by a man. If a man is abused, or between homosexuals (that is, of course they exist), we refer to the concept of domestic violence to explain the situation. This is already a discriminatory way of referring to women as victims of this abuse only to be the majority group that has or is involved in these circumstances, but we forget to look at reality in a comprehensive way to exclude men or gay couples, even though people are treated differently. It's a way to label the violence that has born into a society that is experiencing the boom of the recognition of women, whether we overextended as in situations how are you. Therefore, extensive resources are eligible for these women (another issue would be the effectiveness of these), and the laws which protect the rights of women, as opposed to the figure of the man before he commented. It seems that not conceived in this society that Women have the ability to physically or psychologically abusing a man thinking and conscientiously believing this is when we are really underestimating the role of women and checking out the male figure to be considered strong, and profile related to the word of abusive , not abused. Huge great failure of society.
Another debate was opened by asking whether a woman is battered immigrant Muslim, which is permitted by the Qur'an (book gives only problems I have it every day more clear), what role would the English judiciary, if he would do something. The conclusion reached is that today the Court acts on its own initiative, now does not have be the woman who reported, but if I look down the street I can expose myself and the Justice would act similarly. I realize now that I have referred only to women in this situation, such as in my own person that we tend to position ourselves and see the woman as the person at risk of being abused. I have to apply the story that I released in the previous paragraph, it is true, but not right!
Finally, to comment that we presented three videos: the first was a fragment of the movie "I give you my eyes" that makes the hair stand on end, I want to see movie. The second is a short film that we saw with many difficulties and technical problems, but descriptive the end of the day, and the other cut end of the exhibition with the same children of battered people who ask that denounce the situation of parents, these videos you will touch a chord.

In short, the class concluded with a few minutes of the resolution of questions, which generated some of the discussions explained, the truth is that we baited and ask quite the truth, I do not know if it was the first exhibition, being two-hour class and have more time (as evidenced muyyyy much), or being a defendant and issue that arouses the interest of the class. As for me regard, I noted several things that I find very curious, I've basically said, as were those that caught my attention and seemed important to review. So I think we should proclaim the rights of both men and women about this sensitive matter as daily blasts today. Sensibilicémonos to the cause, and do not get used to seeing these situations, not afraid to speak out when necessary. If not, never get to tackle this problem, and this is not the message we spread!

[BUDO]. A lifestyle.

"It is never late." I do not know who said this phrase in his day but should be wise! The truth is that I am a person that leads to the letter his truth, which lately is becoming my true too. But here we go, the mess.

Earlier this semester we taught a seminar whose theme was treated Budo, a term that encompasses all Japanese martial arts (I swear, kendo, aikido, karate, are the most common). The novelty of the case attracted much attention to the class in general. Say that many of us never had the least penetrated in this world and we had a misconception of him. And it is thought that this technique, the martial arts I mean, they are merely self-defense sport, competitive sport, violent and full of anger, a struggle. That is our mistake, for it to go much further.
The Bushido is purely spiritual inspiration from Eastern philosophy (Taoism in particular, in addition to the current Zen Buddhism, among others), and dates back to years ago in the hands of the samurai warriors. Perhaps there comes our confusion when relating to violence, but we must take into account the spiritual philosophy prevailing in the East, so far from our other hand.

This philosophy of which I speak is based on a duality that represents positive and negative aspects of the human spirit and nature. The Yin represents stillness and contemplation, and action-Yang and expansion. The essence of these arts is the importance they give to the person meditation, balance, emotional stability and thought, merging with nature and the opponent's own body knowledge, empathy (as played in our career), the introspection of the individual, all designed to transform the non-aggression aggression, achieving self-knowledge and creating a sincere and real.

This Eastern philosophy allows us to change a negative feeling in a positive, to know ourselves through timing of our body and mind, so you can know and respect the others. I do not know if this sounds a blunder, but it is important to the person having a known time to meditate, relax and get in tune with itself. Do not let the hassles, impulses or doubts keep us from strengthening our person, but we should all love ourselves enough to dedicate some time to ourselves and take care of both outside and inside. Personally, I think a nice way to go.

As future educators and social workers, or at least I hope so, I think it important that we form ourselves to be people of integrity, thorough, empathic, with a huge respect for others and to ourselves, people who give importance to life as they defended this philosophy, and that we always present a positive view of people, and believe in rehabilitation, the possibility and capacity for improvement.

So the seminar itself was not as practical as I imagined it was to be, mostly because I was wrong about what I would find, but I liked the importance given to these values, this lifestyle on the other hand I admire.

To conclude this post, I leave you with the trailer for the movie "Kunfu Panda", which touches the subject of a fomar entertaining, lively and fun, and I guess you will have seen the majority.

On the other hand, no less important. . . Much encouragement to everyone!
