Welcome to my blog "T3 project." It is a petrol 1.9 of that sounds like a "lion" but getting around is missing some "feline agility" ;-).
Well ... the reason for the creation of this blog, is that the van is going through a time of important changes in your life. You could say it is a cosmetic operation that aims to snatch at least 20 years of "old age" and make it an attractive young girl.
It is an ambitious project which I have in mind and that will continue for some time. The truth seems to be much longer than I figured at first but as well they say ... "Slowly and with good lyrics."
In this blog you will find out that current state is the "operation" and the progress being made as time passes. There will photos ...

September 2005 - The origins
In September 2005 I came across this "jewel" parked under some eucalyptus trees on a road in a village in the area.
Starter blocked. Gasket
lost water.
damaged batteries.
hydraulic clutch sleeve crushed.
plate with "bollaos" on all sides. Interior
full of m. ....
I stared for 1500 euros transferred.
story begins ...

first thing was to clean up the van a little to use it. Amongst other things, you change the upholstery, curtains, flooring, etc. After

August 2006 - The adventure begins ...
After "upgrading" the van had been "decent."
But I finally decided to take the big step ...
He had time to think about and a good August day I started. One had to first remove all belongings from the house trailer.
You do not realize what is in his van until it all piles up outside
We started to remove some furniture. The bank ...
roof ... the closet ...

;-) I have to leave because I have to take road to paint. Once you have been "naked" we can begin to clean all areas affected by rust and furgie prepared for painting. We started with the rear frame of the window ...

September 2006 - started to clean up oxides ...
started cutting the oxidized zone and the surrounding areas by sanding to remove paint and allow perfect weld new sheet metal that we use.
With a little patience and skill, we are folding and cutting a sheet to match it as best we can with the hole cut
Pluck the plate and fill all holes and slots with the solder.
Now a bit of pasta and ready bodybuilder frame. 
We can not forget to protect either the hollow interior. The welding zone is oxidized very easily. I used paint and then wax Zinc cavities left by the well protected area.
And so with all the affected areas ... cut ... welding ... stopping ... protect ...
And waaaaay more areas that I had to "clean up" but I did not take more pictures because I was depressed.

now have to start with the first "Brico" was thought important. MODIFICATION OF THE ROOF of the car, to hold a LCD TV, playstation and TV tuner. We started cutting the roof ... Obviously, we do not cut any element bearing, or nerves, etc. Just a hole on the plate ... (Coño. .. I just realized I have to remove the visors:-D)
Now we put the veneer drawer anteriormene soldered in the drawer. Furgie now have a bump ;-)
Nobody cares about the aesthetics ... Now you will see how it has been ... Behold
gaps have emerged more profitable ... 18 cm inside the holes are ... LCD TV for a 7cm thick room to spare.

As we do not want the bump plate detracts from the nice silhouette furgie we need to modify the roof rack. Cut ...
We found that sits well ...
and close ... Apart from cover the lump of metal, improved aerodynamics and the rack creates strong turbulence that worsen the ratio. A bit of resin and fiber ... 
And listoooo ... the bump is gone, we have improved aerodynamics and all without altering the exterior.
